Neja Anderle began playing the saxophone at the age of ten at the Radovljica Music School with Professor Rok Felicijan, continued her education at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana with Professor Lev Pupis, and since 2022 has been studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the renowned Professor Vincent David.
Her most notable achievements include gold plaques and first prizes at TEMSIG competitions (2016, 2019, 2022), a finalist position at the Young Eurasian Musicians Competition (2020), the Škerjanc Prize (2020), a special jury award at the Josip Nochta Competition in Zagreb (2021), victory at the PamusFlow Competition (2022), and first prize with the Lotus Quartet at the Horlait-Dapsens Competition (2023).
As a soloist, she has performed with several orchestras, including the Jesenice-Kranjska Gora Wind Orchestra, Krka Wind Orchestra, and the Royal Conservatory Brussels Wind Orchestra. In 2023, she organized the international project In Freundschaft, featuring young musicians from Slovenia, Portugal, Spain, and Poland, and performed at the World Saxophone Congress in the Canary Islands. Currently, she is concertmaster of the saxophone ensemble of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and regularly attends masterclasses with world-renowned saxophonists across Europe.
